Dale McCauley

Passed away on March 8, 2025

Dale McCauley, age 71.  Late of Demotte formerly of St. John.  Passed away suddenly on March 8, 2025.  Beloved husband of Linda (nee Buwa).  Dale is also survived by his stepchildren: Jordan Hanning, Ashley (Randall) Lukasik; grandson Randall Jay Lukasik; siblings: William McCauley, Mary Ann McCauley Sacco, and Betty Jean McCauley as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Hardin and Ruth McCauley and brother Ronald McCauley.  Growing up, Dale was an altar boy at St. John the Evangelist Church and a graduate of Lake Central High School, Class of 1973.  He was a retired pipefitter and member of Union Local #597. Dale was a former member of Roseland Ski Club and a PADI Certified Scuba Diver.  He was a loyal Chicago White Sox fan and enjoyed participating in and attending car shows with his Corvette.
