Patrick W. Janik age 91, Born March 17, 1933, Passed away February 16, 2025. Late of St. John, Indiana formerly of Whiting, Indiana. Beloved husband of Patricia for 63 years who preceded him in death on November 12, 2023. Loving father of Jill Janik of Carlsbad, CA. and Greg (Eva Boettcher) of San Marcos, CA. Cherished grandfather of Sofia Janik. Patrick was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary (Emil) Palenik, Elizabeth (Wally) Hankosky, Paul (Catherine) Janik, and John (Olga) Janik. Fond neighbor and friend to many.
Patrick was a graduate of George Rogers High School Hammond, Class of 1951. After graduation from George Rogers, Patrick served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He attended Purdue University Calumet and retired as an engineer from Inland Steel. A Celebration of Life will be held for Patrick in the spring.
