Kenneth J. “Kenny” Hamilton, age 56.  Late of St. John, Indiana formerly Calumet City, Illinois.  Passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025 surrounded by his family.  Beloved son of Robert and Nancy Hamilton.  Loving brother of Judy Hamilton, Robert (Ronda) Hamilton, John (Pam) Hamilton, Dan (Jean) Hamilton, Tom Hamilton, Jim (Sue) Hamilton, Bill (Tonya) Hamilton, and David (Kelly) Hamilton.  Devoted uncle of Rebecca, Shannon, Danny, Stephanie, Jimmy, Julia, Emma, Noah, Luke. 

Kenny was a sales representative for Kellogg with 33 years of dedicated service, and he was also a passionate wood worker; he enjoyed spending time in his workshop making beautiful custom pieces for family and friends.  Kenny had many close friends who he considered more like brothers including Jimmy, Vince, Joe, Frank, Luca, and so many more.  He loved hard rock music, especially Led Zeppelin.  He was a devoted son and best friend to his siblings. Kenny had such a strong faith, and we know he is now at peace in God’s loving embrace.

Visitation Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 5:00 pm.  Funeral Services Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 10:30 am from the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John to St. John the Evangelist Church 10701 Olcott Ave..  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. For more information 219-365-3474
