Ellisa Jazmine Hernandez was born in Chicago Il on April 8th 2005. Her mother, Rudi Ramirez (Gomez), looked into her daughter’s eyes and knew that she was going to be her own person. As a young child Ellisa shown an enormous amount of personality, grit, and an underestimated drive. Yes, she was a firecracker to say the least. Elisa’s smile and laugh could be heard across the room in any function or gathering that she happened to walk into. However small she may have seemed she left big impressions with ever footstep.

In the early morning of February 12th 2025 Ellisa was in a tragic accident. As she was with her boyfriend, Javier Arandas, and a couple of their friends; their vehicle was struck by a train. Unfortunately, the train struck on the side that Ellisa was sitting, and as the sun raised the day seemed a little darker.

Ellisa Jazmine Hernandez leaves behind more than just memories. Her immediate family was small, yet strong. Her mother Rudi Ramirez (Gomez), her father Eric Ramirez. Her little big brother Eric Ramirez Jr, her little brother Kal-El Hernandez. Her two sisters, Alexa Ramirez & Harleen Hernandez.

Ellisa was only 19 years old on that fateful day, but she we live forever in our hearts.

Visitation Friday, February 21, 2025 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm.  Funeral Services Saturday, February 22, 2025 with prayers at 11:00 am from the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 noon.  Interment Private.  For more information 773-731-2749
