Guillermo Villalvazo passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025.

He was born on May 16, 1966, in Mexico, to Guillermo and Dora Villalvazo. He married Dolores Ruiz on November 25, 1988. Together they had a daughter, Cecilia Villalvazo.

Guillermo started his career as a professional boxer and later became a construction worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and fur babies. In his free time, he enjoyed creating colorful floral designs, which adorned his yard.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores, their daughter, Cecilia and his fur babies Coco and Teddy; father Guillermo (late Dora), brothers Alonso (Teresa) and Omar (Esmeralda) and sister Maira (Daniel Juarez). Guillermo will also be missed by his sister-in-law Adriana (Jose Fragoso, Jr.) and Sylvia Ruiz and brother-in-law Jesse Ruiz (Michele), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. 60617. Funeral Services Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Directly at St. Anthony of Padua (11533 S. Prairie Ave. Chicago, IL. 60628) where a visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
