Defined by his passion for running, A.J. could always be found pushing his own limits and redefining what was possible. A.J.’s fiercest competition was himself, as he always strived for perfection regardless of the subject. From Rubik’s cubes to academics, A.J. never backed down from a challenge, finding new ways to beat his own personal records. The only thing more important than his fitness was bringing happiness to others. A.J. found a friend in every person he met, leaving a lasting memory no matter how short the interaction. His loving presence touched us all. His smile and laughter never failed to brighten the darkest of rooms. His memory will never fade, and his spirit will live on in all our hearts until the day we reunite with him in Heaven. As we gather to celebrate and honor A.J.’s life, we look forward to the day that our memories of him will turn tears of sadness into tears of happiness, for that’s what A.J. did best.

Condolences
"I was friends with AJ my freshman year of high school. We were in cross country together. That team was a family and AJ was one of the biggest parts of it. AJ always made me feel like I was right where I belonged. He was very kind to me, I looked forward to seeing him at practice everyday. I really and truly looked up to him. I remember when he got his braces off and we all hyped up his new and lovely smile. That was my favorite year of cross country by far, and AJ is a reason why. We all have much love for him! My heart goes out to AJ’s loved ones. He will always be remembered for his sweet kindness towards myself and many others. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. AJ, you will be missed."
