Passed away on February 2, 2025


Gary K. Traughber, age 80.  Late of Schererville, Indiana formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Passed away February 2, 2025.  Beloved husband of Joann for 45 years.  Loving father of Randi (Mike Hall) Traughber, Traci (Rick) Carraher, and Sherry (Sean) Anderson.   Cherished grandfather of Nick and Matthew Childs and great grandfather of Ariya Childs. Gary was a longtime employee of Lowe’s. 

Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John.  A memorial visitation will also be held in Cincinnati, Ohio at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area in Gary’s name.  For more information 219-365-3474.
