Shirley Wilson (nee Zehme), age 89. Late of Schererville, Indiana formerly of Chicago, Illinois. Passed away January 9, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Loving mother of Stephen Wilson and June (Dennis) Spear. Cherished grandmother of Ryan and Connor Spear and Molly and Maeve Wilson. Devoted daughter of the late Richard and late June Zehme. Dearest sister of Richard (Ginny) Zehme, the late Jean (late Harry), and the late June. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and their wonderful spouses. Special relationship with her nephew Vince who always pitched in and helped out when needed even if just for a visit.
A beloved mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend who was game for any party, activity or adventure she was invited to attend.
She lived her beautiful life to the fullest with family at the center and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at Briar Ridge Country Club on Sunday, January 19th from 2pm-6pm. All are invited to visit with the family and join for the luncheon. Address is 123 Country Club Drive, Schererville, IN 46375
