Camilla  E. Garcia, (nee Malanga), Born June 2, 1932, passed away on December 27, 2024. Preceded in death by her devoted husband Antonio Garcia. Daughter of the late Carmela Torrelli and Nicholas Malanga. Beloved sister of the late Rose Sanchez, late Robert Samano, Antonio (Yvonne) Samano and Mike Samano. Loving mother of Barbara (Manuel) Munoz, Sandra (Wilfrido) Garcia-Ruiz, Toni Rojas, late Antonio Garcia Jr., late Susan Torrez and Laura (Sam) Angueira. Cherished grandmother of Camile, Christina, Catherine, Gustavo Jr. “Pelon”, Claudia, Steven, Eric, Tony “Bombo”, Marcos, Bianca, Damian, Maritza and Dennis. Loving great-grandmother of 20 and great-great-grandmother of 19. Also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many loving friends. Camilla was a retired employee of the Chicago Park District. She loved to dance and loved listening to Mexican music. Her door was always open to everyone. She loved baking her famous banana nut bread, church windows and fudge. She enjoyed knitting headbands, scarves and blankets.

Visitation Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 1-8 p.m. Funeral Monday, January 6, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.  773-731-2749. www.elmwoodchapel.com.
