"Robert was a good friend. We lived in Whithing In. close to where he lived. He was Mr fix it because he would always stop when we needed something to be fixed. He loved to go on golf trips with us to always looking for a challenge and one day we had hole you had 180 yds to clear the lake so a lot of us would hit it to the left to be safe. Bob called us chickens. One of our better golfers bet him 10 bucks that he couldn't do it and Bob soon left with 10 bucks in his pocket. Bob you will be missed. Richie"

"Sincere condolences to Bob's family & friends. It's been many years since I lived in So. Chicago however I can remember Bob and many of his friends at gatherings at "Birds" community center for basketball games, the girls' volleyball tournaments, all very young, just having fun. Bob, strong, silent type, time passes on too fast however the memories are forever, remembering good times. Rest in peace, dear Bob, Mila & Mike Cimprich "

"Profound condolences to Bob’s family. He was the “B” on the marquee at the LBH Pub. The sports bar that was home to many of the athletes in South Chicago from 1968 to 1982. He was very popular to the boys in blue from the 4th Dist CPD. He was a drawing card to Boilermakers and other tradesmen (US Steel) Bob & Harry would sponsor beer games and on pool tournaments. During Bear season, the Pub would have something to munch on during half time. Bob was the first guy to wear Florschiem shoes on the golf course. Lots of great memories. Rest in peace Bob and say “hello” to Harry. "
