Alice Flores Castillo, age 83, late of the East Side passed away on November 15, 2024. Beloved wife of Aurelio Castillo for 42 years. Loving mother of Julie (Paulo) Armijos. Devoted grandmother of Alex Armijos and Luca Armijos. Oldest daughter of the late Oscar and late Mary Flores. Dearest sister of Carol (Harold) Davis, Anthony (Maxine) Flores and late Janice (late Tom Hojnacki) Flores. Dearest sister in law to Socorro, Esther, Elias, Rene, Elisa (Enrique), Maria Elena (late Gonzalo) and late Consuelo (late Jose). Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews here and in Mexico. Alice was born in Tulsa, OK on April 24, 1941. At an early age her family arrived in South Chicago and later moved to the East Side . Alice worked for Vrdolyak Law Group for many years. After retirement she enjoyed reading books, listening to music, watching her grandchildren, and being with her siblings and neighbors Eva and Hilda. 

Visitation Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Our Lady of Nazareth Church (Formerly Church of the Annunciata). Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Cemetery private. 773-731-2749. www.elmwoodchapel.com.
