Brian F. McCafferty, age 66, late of the East Side passed away on November 9, 2024. Proceeded in death by his parents Hugh and Sarah McCafferty and his daughter Sarah Anne McCafferty. Loving father of Brian J. McCafferty and Kelsey Marie McCafferty. Devoted Grandfather of Ayden Joseph McCafferty and Lylah Grace Reyes.  Dear brother of Dennis (Elaine) McCafferty, Hugh Anthony McCafferty and Ann (Donald) Majka. Fond Uncle of Donald Jr. (Jennie) and Ryan Majka and Allison(Ruben) Mendez. Veteran of the United States Navy and was employed in various heavily industrial capacities as an Electrician and Instrumentation Implementation Processes where he was a master of his craft. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from Noon until 3:00 p.m with a prayer service at 2:30 pm. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in his name to the St. Jude Children’s Foundation.
