Joanne R. Curran, age 82, late of Hegewisch, formerly longtime of the East Side, passed away on July 21, 2024. Beloved wife of the late John Sr. “Toby”. Loving mother of Debbie Pulido-Sullivan, Joyce Curran, John (Tracy) Curran Jr. and late Joanne C. Curran. Devoted grandmother of Nicole, John, late Matthew, Liam, Brendan and Megan. Cherished great grandmother of 7. Dearest sister of Richard Wirtes, Robert Wirtes, late John Wirtes, and late Ronald Necco. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Joanne was a member of Amvets Post #43 Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation Monday, July 29, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Services Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave, Chicago to Our Lady of Nazareth Church (formerly Annunciata). Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
