Leonard B. Blase, "Len"

Passed away on June 17, 2024

Leonard B. "Len" Blase, age 87, peacefully passed away June 17, 2024.  Beloved husband of Marianne (nee Kolanczyk) for 65 years.  Loving father of James (late Dana) Blase, Daniel (Lisa) Blase, and Kathy (Tom) Kearns.  Cherished grandfather of Tami (Andrew), Keri (Austin), Karl, Joey (Katie), Doug, Emily (David), and Nicole.  Dearest great grandfather of Harper and Brynlee.  Beloved brother of Lorraine Wicks, Ron Blase, and Lynn Lawrence. Len was a retired carpenter and always happily made time to help his family, friends and neighbors with their home repairs and remodeling projects. He was rightfully proud of the three beautiful homes that he built for his children. Len was happiest when his family was all gathered together for dinner. Len’s favorite hobbies included fishing, golfing, and camping – especially with his favorite uncle and sidekick, Erv.  Some of Len’s fondest memories were the many times he took his kids and grandkids fishing on his boat, regardless of the weather.
