Veronica Castro 60 Late of South Chicago formerly of Alsip IL.  Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 29, 2024. Dearest daughter of late Martiniano Ramos and Catherine Ledezma. Beloved wife of Rafael Castro, Loving mother of Vicente (Anna) Jacqueline (Isaac) Ileana (Victor) Lorena (Nestor) and best grandmother ever of 14 grandchildren. She was the Betty White of her family and will be missed dearly. Visitation Thursday, June 13, 2024 2-9 pm.  Funeral Services Friday, June 14, 2024 at 9:15 am from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S.
