Rudolph Pena, “Rudy”, age 87, late of Hammond, IN and formerly of South Chicago passed away on May 17, 2024. Beloved husband of late Concepcion “Connie” Pena. Loving father of Katherine (David) Pena-Zamojski, Peter (Julie Kapica) Pena, David Pena, and Laura (Maria) Pena. Special grandfather of Finn Donahoe. Dear son of the late Jose B. Pena and late Elvira Pena. Dearest brother of Mary Alice (George) Cervantez. Fond uncle of Aurora (Bill) Ruckman, late Celeste (Mark) Baker, Steven Cervantez, and Gina Cervantez-Hurt. Rudy was a U. S. Army Veteran, retired employee of Ford Motor Company (Hegewisch) with 41 years of dedicated service and was a graduate of Bowen High School Class of 1956 and active in the ROTC program. Visitation Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 8:45 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S.
