Passed away on March 30, 2024


Frank R. “Pancho” Albarran, age 89.  Late of South Deering, born in Platteville, CO.  Passed away March 30, 2024.  Beloved husband of Mary (nee Arredondo) for 67 years.  Loving father of Margaret (Scott) Estler, Frank J. Albarran, Anne Marie (Daniel) Santiago, Patricia Albarran, and Joseph (Viviana) Albarran. Cherished grandfather of Megan (Kyle) Lauren (Jesus), Michael, Matthew, Imelda (Michael) Delaney, Gabriela, and Christian.  Dearest great grandfather of Ava.  Dear brother of Mary Martinez, Juanita Garcia, late Carmen Chagolla, and the late Thomas Albarran and brother in law of Benjamin Arredondo, Refugio Arredondo, late Lupe Castaneda, late Dolores Lopez Ojeda, late Frank Arredondo, and late Joseph Arredondo.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents Luis and Tomasa Albarran and in laws Jose D. and Librada Arredondo.  Frank was a retired employee of Soodik Printing Company.  He was a longtime dedicated parishioner at St. Kevin Church serving as lead usher for many years and chairman of St. Kevin Fest.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus – Trinity Council.  Frank enjoyed wood working and golf.

Visitation Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 2-8 pm at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago.  Visitation and Funeral Services Monday, April 8, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am DIRECTLY at St. Bernadette Church of St. Gianna Parish 9343 S. Francisco Ave. Evergreen Park, IL. 60805.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).  For more information 773-731-2749.
