Jodie Sue Talabay, age 60. Late of Lansing, Illinois formerly of the South East Side of Chicago.  Passed away March 28, 2024.  Beloved wife of Larry for 10 years.  Loving mother of Jessica Flowers.  Dearest sister of Lisa (Chuck) Schillaci, Dave (Chrissy) Flowers, and Jessica (Diadro) Evans.  Dear sister in law of Lorna (Tony) Soeka and Lynn (Jay) Rogan McClatchey.  Jodie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.  She was a longtime bartender at the Shed and the American Legion Post #697, Lansing, IL.  Jodie loved traveling across the country and sightseeing by motorcycle and at home passionately tended to a flourishing garden where she fed and watched the hummingbirds. She will be remembered for living her life to the fullest. 

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm directly at Lencioni’s Banquets 3325 Glenwood Dyer Road, Lynwood, IL. 60411.  For more information 219-365-3474
