Genevieve H. Kovac (Nee Golembiewski), age 89, late of Lowell, formerly of Calumet City passed away on March 27, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Anthony (Michele) Kovac and Julie (Chris) Fleming. Devoted grandmother of Macensie (David) Cline, Paul Rojkowski, Savannah and Jessica Fleming. Cherished great grandmother of Kristopher. Preceded in death by sisters Martha Pawlicki and Edna Bieganowski and three infant brothers. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Former employee of Polka Sausage and former parishioner of St. Victors Church of Calumet City. Visitation Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 2-8 p.m. with a funeral service at 4:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel and Crematory 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way (1/2 block south of 133^rd Ave across from the library at Lincoln Plaza Way), Cedar Lake, IN.
