Constance Garcia, “Connie”, age 71, late of South Chicago, IL passed away on March 8, 2024. Connie was born on November 24, 1952. She was the beloved wife of Michael Reyes for 35 years. Loving mother of Anna Ortiz, Jennifer Reyes and John Villarreal. Devoted grandmother of Esteban Ortiz, Alex Villarreal, Joel Ortiz, Michael Ortiz, Nicholas Ortiz, Elise Ortiz, Angelina Grassano, Sussie Grassano and Angelo Grassano. Cherished great-grandmother of 11. Dear daughter of the late John Garcia and late Celia Guerrero. Dearest sister of Rita (late Tony) Rodriguez. Fond niece of Angie Deleon. Connie was the aunt of Anthony, Marianne, late Suzanna and many other nieces and nephews. Connie attended St. Peter and Paul Grade School, was a graduate of Bowen High School and a retired employee of the Chicago Board of Trade with 37 years of dedicated service. Her main goal in life was her love for her grandkids and what she could do for them. Memorial visitation Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:15 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
