Sandra Wozniak (nee Mirkiewicz), late of Crete, IL formerly of Calumet City, IL Passed away February 25, 2024. Beloved wife of the late William Wozniak. Loving sister of the late Barbara Mirkiewicz , late Ronald (Janice) Mirkiewicz, and Tim Mirkiewicz. Dearest aunt of Lynette (Jeff) Paliga, Beth (Nick) Pezzuto, and Brittany (Jerry) Laboy. Dear great aunt of Joey, Sam, Danny, Gianna, Julia, and Nicky. Sandra is also survived by her beloved dog “Little Girl”. She is preceded in death by her parents Xavier and Helen Mirkiewicz. She was a retired employee of the Bank of Commerce in Chicago.
Sandra was a very generous person who was always there for you. She had a big passion for cooking with a profound collection of cookbooks. She was a cat & dog lover. She always enjoyed a good book and watched countless movies (especially with Tom Hardy). She really appreciated the finer things in life as far as food, art and travel. Although, her most favorite times were spent being with family and friends. We will miss her dearly and will cherish all of the special moments we had with her. She will forever live in our hearts.
