Carlos Jimenez

Passed away on February 1, 2024

Carlos Jimenez, age 38, of East Side of Chicago, Illinois sadly left us on Thursday evening February 1, 2023. Cherished son of Jesus “Chino” and Sylvia Jimenez, treasured brother Jesus “J” Jimenez and sister Sara (Jack) Bell. Fond uncle of Aydan, Vincent, Katie, Josiah, Ezra, Micah and Veronica. Loved nephew to many aunts and uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his brother Vicente Jimenez and his grandparents Augustina Perez and Minerva (Minnie) Barrera-Jimenez. He served in the church as an altar boy in his younger years while attending Gallistel Language Academy. He was a lifeguard with Chicago beaches and pools and the South Chicago YMCA for several years. A graduate of Bishop Noll Class of 2004. Achieved his associates degree from Harold Washington Community College in 2007. Carlos was a young playful soul vivacious and passionate about everything life has to offer. Carlos had the ability to make the masses burst at the seams in laughter, with a smile, laugh, and dance moves that are truly unforgettable! He loved the White Sox, the Bulls, the Blackhawks and Da Bears. He especially loved being at the games with friends and family! Dancing along with the street drummers and screaming out “Chicaaaaagooooo!!!” Carlos was loved by so many. He will always be missed and  remembered by the many lives he touched and brought joy during his short time here on earth. He is now called to his eternal home, to be with our God the father in heaven. Please join his parents and family as they prepare in this difficult time of leading him to his final resting place.
