Juanita Trevino, (nee Arjona), age 90, late of Crown Point, IN and formerly of South Chicago passed away on January 13, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Benito Trevino. Loving mother of Delia (late Jose Luis) Rizo, Santos (Lidia) Saenz, and Nancy Ramirez. Devoted grandmother of the late Jose Luis Rizo, Theresa (Courtney) Oden, Benito (Cindy) Saenz, Santos (Renee) Saenz, Justin (Shannon) Saenz, Brian Saenz, Reginald Evans, David Ramirez, Rachel McCullough, Alfredo Ramirez, monica Ramirez. Cherished great-grandmother of 25 great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of the late Felix Arjona, and late Guadelupe Arjona. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Juanita was a retired employee of Catholic Charities Chicago, IL. Long time parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in South Chicago, and active member of the Mexican Community Committee in South Chicago in the 80’s until the early 90’s. Per Juanita’s wish, funeral services were held privately for the family.
