Jose Reyes Pallares, age 96, of South Chicago, passed away on January 14, 2024.
Beloved husband of Maria Teresa Pallares for 37 years. He shares his children with the late Angeline Ortega from their marriage of 25 years.
Loving father of late Antonio Pallares, Elydia (Donnie) Brown, late Jose Pallares Jr, Lucy Pallares, Paula (James) Fejes and Thomas Pallares.
Devoted grandfather of Becky (Juan), Sarah, Vicky, Donnie Jr (Kelly), Billy (Gina), Maria (Osvil), Roselinda, Angel, Nicole, Sylvia, Marie, Thomas Jr, Jose, Michael, Robert, Christina and Joey. Also the cherished great-grandfather of many.
Dearest son of the late Lorenzo and late Altagracia Pallares. Fond brother of Angel, Sebastian, Juanna, Cleopha, the late Marcus and the late Theodoro. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jose was a retired employee of U. S. Steel South Works. A U. S. Army Korean War Veteran.
