Linda A. Sereda, age 75. Late of the East Side, formerly of Burnside. Passed away on December 21, 2023. Loving daughter of late Michael and late Josephine Sereda. Dearest sister of the late Michael “Mickey” Sereda. Survived by her cousin Carol Behun. Member of Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Linda enjoyed playing bingo, avid supporter to the casinos playing slots. She will be dearly missed by her friends Sheryl, Bob, and Anna. Visitation and Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Vasyl Sendeha officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. "I am heart broken and saddened over the passing of Linda. I met her in 1982 at Amtrak. At that time we worked in the reservations department. At work we often chatted and after we retired we kept in constant touch with each other via e-mails, birthdays and holidays. My deepest sympathies to the Sereda family. I will miss her.
