Leonard Wegrzyn, age 67, late of Hegewisch, passed away December 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Nowak) for 38 yrs. Loving brother of Thomas Wegrzyn and Joseph (Georgean) Wegrzyn. Devoted son of late Edward and late Clara (nee Sypniewski) Wegrzyn. Dear son-in-law of late Apolonia “Sally” and late Walter Nowak. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his canine friends Wilbur and Morty. Former machinist of Rail Exchange Inc. and Quality Die. Member of St. Columba Church Rosary Group and Chaplain of Sons of American Legion Post #80. Leonard was a jack of all trades and was extremely proud of the work he did on their home. He enjoyed magic, pool and fishing. Visitation Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Services Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S.
