James M. Melcher, age 47, late of Cedar Lake passed away on November 16, 2023. Beloved son of Susan Melcher and Stephen (late Laura) Melcher, Sr. Loving brother of Stephen (Tammy) Melcher, Nicole (Vince) Schultz, Sean (Kim) Melcher and Jennifer (AJ) Sundberg. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his cherished dog Roscoe. Member of Iron workers Local # 395. Jim loved riding his Harley Davidson and sailing. Visitation Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 3-8 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel & Crematory 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way Cedar Lake, IN 46303.
