Passed away on August 30, 2023
Marko Zoretic Sr., age 81, beloved husband of Mariana (nee Ljubas) for 58 years. Loving father of Thomas Zoretic, Jennifer (John) Fife and the late Marko Zoretic Jr. Cherished grandfather of Johnny, Joshua and Jacob. Dear brother of Mirko (Judy), late Jozo (Angela) and the late Marica (late Ivan) Zoretic. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Janitor Union Local 1. Marko was a Croatian immigrant who captured the American Dream, was a friend to many and respected by all. He experienced the highs and lows of life but it was his faith that always gave him strength.
Visitation Tuesday, September 5, 2023 3-9 pm. Funeral Services Wednesdays September 6, 2023 at 9:15 am from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. to Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church.
