Jesus Cuevas, age 85, late of Vets Park passed away on June 2, 2023. Beloved husband of Graciela for 65 years. Loving father of Consuelo (Mario) Sierra, Veronica Cuevas, Ignacio (Silvia) Cuevas, Christopher (Yolanda) Cuevas, Laura (Obdulio) Leanos and Anna (Alfonso) Villanueva. Devoted grandfather of Julianne (David) Flores, Crystal (Edgar) Luna, Mario Sierra, Elizabeth Sierra, Gabriel (Andrea) Pimentel, Julio Pimentel, Amanda Pimentel, Brianna Pimentel, Silvia (Adam) Conner, Michelle Cuevas, Daniel Cuevas, Moses Cuevas, Tania Cuevas, Kristen Cuevas, Daniel Leanos, Lauren Leanos, Alfonso Villanueva III and Andrea Villanueva. Cherished great-grandfather of Mariela, Alyssa, Adrian, Alessandra, Olivia, Gabriel, Mia, Ava and Camila. Dear son of the late Jose and late Maria Cuevas. Dearest brother of Maria Eugenia, Maria Elena, Maria Antonia, Jose, Virginia, Antonio and Esperanza. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jesus was a former employee of Wisconsin Steel, former parishioner of St. Kevin Church in South Deering, loved his garden and spending time with his family. Visitation Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 1-8 p.m. Funeral Monday, June 5, 2023, at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
