Jorge S. Diaz, age 92, passed away on May 12, 2023 with his family by his side.

Beloved husband of the late Maria Refugio Del Real Diaz. Loving father of Gabriel Diaz, Georgina (Richard) Bonzie, late Jose Diaz, George (Maria) Diaz, Azucena “Susie” (Patricio) Gonzalez, Arthur (Sylvia) Diaz. 

Devoted grandfather of Gabriela (Joseph Middono) Diaz, Alberto Diaz, Eduardo Diaz, Jenniffer (Martin) Johnson, Marybeth Rodriguez, Erika Cisneros, Dawn Jimenez, Gilbert (Natalie) Rodriguez, Jose Pepe Diaz, Noel Diaz, Lara Diaz, Luis Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, Victor Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez, Michael (Erin) Diaz, David (Megan) Diaz.  Cherished great grandfather of Emily Soto, Penelope Diaz, Savannah Castell, Alyson (Chen) Yi, Eduardo Galvan, Milena Galvan, Jonathon Rodriguez, Grace Cisneros, Veronica Cisneros, Jesse Cisneros, Joel Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, Anysa Rodriguez, Ariana Diaz, Luna Gonzalez, Mateo Gonzalez, Emma Gonzalez, Madeline Rose, Isabella Hope. Loving great, great grandfather of Trinidad, Esmeralda, Yulissa, Ty, Emilio. Son of the late Maria Diaz and Primitivo Diaz. Brother of the late Jose Diaz. Also survived by Georgina's first husband Gilbert Rodriguez. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

 

Jorge was a retired employee of Republic/LTV Steel. He enjoyed fishing, dining out, and spending time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and never passed up the opportunity to tell a good joke. He will be missed.
