Patricia “Pat” Stelmaszek, age 57, late of the East Side of Chicago, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Pat is survived by her devoted love and life partner, Gregory Carchedi; loving son, Jesse Stelmaszek and daughters: Christina, Melissa and Lisa. Patty is also survived by her siblings: Margaret (late Raul) Glinski-Tavarez, Joseph (Betty) Stelmaszek, Kevin (late Maria) Stelmaszek, Mary (Phil) Gutierrez, Danny Faulds and cherished “older” twin sister, Paula (Mike) Garcia; grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents: Ronald and Sharon Faulds and sister, Ruth Evans. A true fighter, Patty courageously battled an aggressive cancer for the past 4 years. She loved her arts and crafts, a winning scratch off ticket, shopping for a deal, cooking a good meal, keeping a tidy home and spending time with family. Pat will be remembered for her “tell it like it is” attitude and generous spirit. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
