Socorro Elizalde (nee Munguia), age 82, late of Hegewisch passed away on February 8, 2023. Happily married to her beloved husband Santos for 67 years. Loving mother of:Jane (Nick) Dejanovich, Devoted Grandma of Samantha, Alex Michael (Socorro) Elizalde, Devoted Grandma of Mike, Vincent, Matthew, Miranda, Emma Joseph Elizalde, Devoted Grandma of Nathaniel, Sophia (Justin) Moreno Daniel (Laura) Elizalde, Devoted Grandma of Daniel (Mari) Elizalde Jr., Nina (Josh) DeYoung Nancy (Patrick) Miles, Devoted Grandma of Amanda (Ryan), Rachel (Miguel), Melissa (Jose), Robert, Patrick Tina (Pete) Scalone, Devoted Grandma of Anthony (Elia), late Jaclyn Wigsmoen, Brooke (Justin), Taylor (Joseph), Peter and Payton Cherished great-grandmother of 24. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Socorro was an inaugural board member of the Hegewisch Girls Softball League. Retail business owner for more than 10 years. Socorro lovingly cared for many of her grandchildren during their school years. But her greatest love and achievement was caring for her family.

Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Christ Our Light Church (Formerly St. Florian Church).
