"My Deepest Sympathies to the Tumpich family on the loss of John. I've had the priveledge of singing with him for the past 10 years @ Sacred Heart Church, he also did the honors of singing a solo at my sisters funeral called Valley of the Green. Listening to him sing made you think you were in heaven listening to the angelic choir themselves! He made us laugh at many choir practices with his cheeky antics! He will be missed by so many. May he rest in God's eternal peace & comfort & may his voice ring the heavens with beautiful song!"

"My family’s condolences at the passing of John. I had the privilege of working on stage with John when he was cast as Emile in South Pacific at Community Showcase Theatre in Whiting. John’s voice was beautiful and rich. He had never acted onstage, but he took to it like a trouper and brought joy to the audiences and to his fellow actors. We will miss him and his warmth and humility."
