Passed away on January 2, 2023

Diane “Giggy” Babich.  Loving Mother of Joan (Robert) Jakovich and Sam (Debra) Babich.  Dearest Baba (Grandmother) of Sam (Nicole) Zagorac, Nicole (Matt) Kundrat, Marko Zagorac, Joseph (Taylor) Babich and Matthew Babich.  Dear great-grandmother of Sammy and Gino Zagorac, Nina, David, Mila and Ella Kundrat, Adi, Zion, Jovana and Everly Babich.

Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Babich and parents Jovo and Boja Orlich, great grandaughter Mia Rose Kundrat, sisters Mildred (John) Tisza, Dolly (Michael) Lalich, and brothers George (Martha) Orlich and Dan Orlich.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Giggy was a member of the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church in Lansing, IL.  She was a longtime time member of the K.S.S. Knjeginja Zorka and the Serbian Singing Society Sloboda.

Visitation and Funeral Services Thursday, January 5, 2023 DIRECTLY at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church (1500 186th St. Lansing, IL. 60438) where Diane will Lie in State from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 am with the Very Rev. Dr. Milos Vesin officiating.  Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  In lieu of flowers donations to St. Archangel Michael Church or the S.S.S.
