Maria C. Paredes, age 93, late of South Chicago passed away on December 27, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Roberto Paredes. Loving mother of late Daniel P. Torres, John A. (Amparo) Paredes, late Gloria C. Hernandez, Raquel (Giovanni) Postacchini, Leticia (Ramiro) Gutierrez, Consuelo Paredes and Roberto (Elvia) Paredes. Devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many. Marie was devoted to her family, enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, puzzles, dancing in her high heels. She had a quick wit coupled with sassy comebacks. Even at this age her memory was sharp.
