Carmen Barajas Tovar, age 98, late of South Chicago, passed away December 5, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Pedro Tovar Barajas.  Loving mother of Grace Gonzalez, late Carmen Tovar, late Frank Tovar, Jimmy Tovar, Susan Franco, Tony Tovar and Pedro “Peter” Tovar.  Cherished grandmother of the late Guillermo, Robert, Michael, Veronica, Frannie, Cindy, Angela, Frankie, Julie, Jaclyn, Rosanne, Alfredo, Erica, Kaine, Lisa, Kelly, Alex, Jennifer and Joe.  Adored great grandmother of many.  Beloved sister and fond aunt of many.  Visitation Friday 2-9pm.  Funeral services Saturday, December 10, 2022   10:15am prayers from Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S.
