Jesse A. Hernandez, Sr., age 66, late of Crown Point, IN and formerly of South Chicago passed away on November 4, 2022. Beloved husband of Sonia (nee Orozco) for 44 years. Loving father of Jesse (Rachel) Hernandez, Jr., Joseph (Allyssa) Hernandez and Edward (Gina) Hernandez. Cherished grandfather of Julian, Vincent, Matthew, Valerie and Joey. Dear brother of Nayla, Sara and Minerva. Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Armando and Yolanda Hernandez. Jesse was a lifelong Chicago Cub and Chicago Bear fan. Visitation Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 2-9 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 West 97th Lane (1/2 block west of U.
