Brenda was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will greatly be missed. Brenda is survived by husband of 36 years James Wheeler. Children & Spouse(significant other): Don Jr. (Diane), Dawn (Rick), Joshua (Kayte), Christi & Charlie, Cheryl (Caleb), Christopher & Sirena. Grandchildren: Alexander & Deja, Zachary, Madison, Kaeli, Logan, Jianna, Samantha, Karl & Beatriz, Michael, Kellsie, Jacob, Matteo, Brianna, Riley, Marty, Kevin, and Adysen. Great-Grandchild: Za’Nilah. Siblings: Bill, Patti, Diana, and Sandy. Preceded in death by parents Daniel and Macy, and Sisters Donna and Cheryl. Brenda was loved by her family, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Brenda served as a firefighter for the Riverdale Fire Department for sometime. She was a stay at home mom for most of her life devoting all of her time to her family she loved dearly. Her grand kids meant everything to her and she always did what she could for them. She would often watch wrestling as she was an avid fan. She always took pride in decorating her home for the season. Whether it was a ear to listen, or a shoulder to cry on she was there to comfort. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) - 3:00- p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave at 97th LN.) St. John, IN. 46373
