Stefanie Abedin (Valdez), age 36. Late of Chicago, Illinois. Passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2022. Beloved wife of Kaife Abedin. Loving mother of Zaina Ray Abedin. Devoted daughter of Raymond Valdez and Theresa Perez. Treasured daughter-in-law of Suraiya and Zainul Abedin. Cherished sister of Sofia (Michael) VanAsdall, Joseph (Christina) Valdez, and Nicholas Valdez. Dear sister-in-law of Doreen Abedin and Kaniz Abedin. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandparents Augustina Perez, Isabell and Raymond Valdez. Stefanie, a teacher and former lifeguard who completed the ironman three times, will always be remembered for her infectious, loving personality, and how much she adored being a mother to her daughter. She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation Monday, August 29, 2022 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 9:15 am from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
