Passed away on July 17, 2022


Kylie M. McKee, born October 22, 1996, in Valparaiso, resident of LaPorte, formerly of Cedar Lake, Indiana, passed away tragically on July 17, 2022at the age of 25.  

Proud mother of Noah Collinsworth.  Beloved daughter of Patrick Couwenhoven, Kathleen Mancher, and Theo Smith.  Dearest sister of Aiden and Shawn Couwenhoven. Loving granddaughter of Kathy McKee and William McKee and great granddaughter of Donald BristerKylie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

Kylie is preceded in death by her grandparents John and Rose Couwenhoven, great grandmother, Katherine Bristergreat uncle, Michael Brister, cousin, Nicholas DeVries and fiance, Jared Page.

Kylie was a graduate of Crown Point High School Class of 2015 and employed by Zorn Brew Works, Co.in Michigan City. She loved spending time on her dad’s boat on Lake Michigan, their many vacations together as well as spending time with family and friends. Kylie was taken from us far too soon and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service at 2:30 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Cedar Lake 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way (1/2 block south of 133rdAve across from the library at Lincoln Plaza Way).  For more information 219-374-9300.
