"Dear Kelley and family. It has been many years since I worked with Rocky in PGH PA. He was a hard worker and great associate to me as we built our business in Monongahela Pa close to 30 years ago. I enjoyed him always beating me at golf on weekends when we could get out to play. Rocky was a great guy and will be missed. RIP old friend. Sincerely Ken Mueller Scottsdale Az"

"Words cannot express how very sorry I am to learn the news of Rocky. The world has lost a truly genuine and good soul. In high school, he had a larger-than-life, positive personality — a great person to so many. I consider myself very lucky to have known him… a true friend who looked out for me. I wouldn't have passed Chem class without him quizzing me in homeroom. To Kelly, Dee Dee and the whole family, I pray the Lord gives you strength and comfort through this difficult time. May his memory forever live in your hearts. My deepest sympathies and prayers to you all... God Bless. —Jennifer (Hatala) Nesbit and family"

"Kelly, My heart is heavy with your loss. I wish I was closer to reach out and pass a hug your way. As this will be a difficult time for you and your family, I pray that God comforts you with His embrace and offers your tired heart peace and less pain each passing day as you start your journey to healing. As I know you always loved everyone to your fullest capacity for the good of their inner piece, now it's all of our turn to embrace you and offer you our love, that no matter where all your extended friends and family are on this earth, let us take some of that pain and hurt from you so maybe tomorrow will be a little less painful. I did not know Rocky extremely well as distance was always in the way, however, when I did get to talk to you occasionally, the love I felt from you that only can come from a strong and loving family unit, I just knew Rocky was your foundation. I'm sure God has chosen you to carry a bigger burden then most of us because your heart is so full of love, in that regards, I consider you the blessed one. I am here for you in Ohio if you ever need to get away for a bit. Just for a minute if I can dim your pain with a smile, just think of my knee-high socks and shorts "Dorbo" wore the same pair everyday. Our forever summers, during Jr High, we would sit under the apple tree in the horse pasture and read that DLS book, and yes, I made you read it every time, you were such a good reader! Lastly, out of so many good memories with you during our school breaks, remember how we would light candles in your little tree house in the back yard and your mom and dad decided to put electricity in before we burnt it down so we could read at night. Those memories will be with me forever. I feel the memories we make are what get us through the tough times, especially with our dearest family and I'm sure you and Rocky have better memories to laugh about. Let those memories give you a moment of rest. Rocky and your beautiful family are in our thoughts and prayer daily....I love you my beautiful friend and thank you for all the love you have shared with all of us, it made a difference! Dorian "
