Amanda M. Alvarez (nee Calo), age 31, late of the East Side, passed away January 24, 2022. Beloved mother of Elliot and Myla. Devoted daughter of Sonia (nee Velez) Calo and Juan Calo. Loving sister of Tommy and Johnny Calo. Dearest granddaughter of Mariana Velez. Dear aunt of Noah and Savanna Calo. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Teacher for the Chicago Public Schools. Visitation Monday 2-8pm. Funeral Service Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10:15am from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, IL to Our Lady of Nazareth Church (formerly Annunciata) at 11:00am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
