Mario N. Cardenas, age 61, late of Evergreen Park, passed away January 16, 2022.  Beloved husband of the late Carolyn (nee Gavin) for 20 years.  Loving father of Alyssa and Nicholas.  Beloved son of Rachel (Lou) Barlow and Anthony Cardenas.  Dear brother of Anthony (Mary) Cardenas, Paul (Shannon) Cardenas and Lisa (late Dan) Pole.  Mario is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.  Mario will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and love of classic rock music, especially those artists with an edge.  Mario was an avid Chicago sports fan- White Sox and Bear teams getting most of his attention.  Visitation Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 2-8pm at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S.
