Ann Marie Davros “Nancy” (nee Perz), age 72, of Dolton, IL passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Jim Davros for 54 years. Loving mother of George (Carol) Davros, Frank (Sue) Davros, Angela Davros, and Nicole Davros (Charlie Alcala). Devoted grandmother of Tyler, Helen, and Jaclynn. Dearest sister of Kenny (Linda) Perz, and fond aunt of many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers (John, Richard, and Fred), two children (Michael and David), one grandchild (Foster), and one nephew (Scott).
Ann worked as a server in the restaurant industry for over 40 years but was even more tireless in her own kitchen where her skills at cooking and baking were unparalleled. Although Polish by heritage, her skills at making delicious Greek food were cherished by family and friends. When she wasn’t in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, she could be found hanging out with her monthly poker group or at her favorite poker machine at the casino. She also enjoyed gardening and took joy in seeing hummingbirds visit her flowers and feeder.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Chapel-Chicago, IL
