Grace E. Morton, (nee Rutherford), age 80, late of St. John, IN and formerly of Clinton, IL passed away on June 14, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Woodrow W. Morton, Jr. Loving mother of Woodrow W. (Julie) Morton, III, Julia (James V.) Kennedy, late Barbara L. (James)Estes and late Fred Morton. Devoted grandmother of Bryce (Danielle) Morton, Ryan (Lauren) Morton, Hayli (Alex) Jensen, Brieanna Kennedy, Abbygayle (Jarom) DePew, Molly Kennedy, Gideon Kennedy, Anthony Kennedy, Sophia Kennedy, Victoria Kennedy, Jackson Kennedy, Billy Joe (Alicia) Reynolds, Jr. And late Barry Reynolds. Cherished great-grandmother of Jackson, Owen, Daniel, Raehanna, Jasmine and Grace. Dear daughter of the late James Arthur Rutherford and late Clemma Viola Rutherford. Dear sister of 12 brothers and sisters, seven boys and five girls. From oldest to youngest are James lived for three months and died of pneumonia, Frank passed away 12-24-03, Carl, Betty passed away 11-1-2016, Lloyd, Fred, Clyde, Rose, John passed away, Nancy, the youngest was Debbie she was stillborn.

Grace was a devoted wife and mother. She and Woody were married 47 years. She served for 53 years in the Relief Society, teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving other women in need. Grace drove the elderly to the grocery store, doctor appointments, cooked, and visited with them at home. She and Woody raised 3 children. Their grandchildren stole their heart. They spent as much time as possible serving and enjoying them.

Visitation Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 2:30 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3:30 p.m. DIRECTLY at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 West Wirth Road Griffith, IN 46319.
