Passed away on June 11, 2021


Susan Ring, age 72, late of Dyer formerly of Highland, passed away June 11, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Timothy Ring.  Loving mother of Barbara (Bill) Sanchez, Erin (Robert) Schmiedl, and Catherine (Jaime) Land.  Cherished grandmother of Matt (Danielle), Jon, Dan, Kristin, Lauren (Ben, fiancé), Jacob, Timothy, Joseph, Carter, Ben, and Joseph.  Dearest great grandmother of Lily.  Dear sister of Irene (Gary), Frank (Sally), Barb (Fidel), Lydia (Mick), Resa (Jim), Dave, Vickie, Steve, and the late Christine.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Susan lived a very active lifestyle. She was a Master Gardener and a member of the St. John the Evangelist Church Choir, her Dream Group, as well as many volunteer groups. 

Visitation Sunday, June 13, 2021 3-7 pm.  Funeral Services Monday June 14, 2021 at 9:30 am from the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John to St. John the Evangelist Church (10701 Olcott).  Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to NOCC – lllinois Chapter  (Illinois - National Ovarian Cancer Coalition).  For more information 219-365-3474.
