Passed away on May 25, 2021

Rosa Cañas, “Rosie”, age 88, late of South Holland, IL and formerly of Texas passed away on May 25, 2021. Loving mother of Sonny (Sally) Cañas and Cynthia “Cindy” Cañas. Devoted grandmother of Olivia Rose Cañas, Benjamin Austin Cañas and Madeline Rene Cañas. Also survived by many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends. Rosie was a retired employee of Commercial Wallpaper Company with many years of dedicated service. She was a former employee of St. Victor School in Calumet City, IL. She loved gardening, her family, her friends and laughing. Family meant everything to her especially her grandchildren. Memorial visitation Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until time of “Celebration of Life Services” at 3:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S.
