Jesse Tapia, “Jay”, age 84, late of Morton Grove, IL and formerly of South Deering passed away on April 12, 2021. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Hernandez) for 57 years. Loving father of late baby Dolores Tapia, Crispin (Fiancé Angelica Ruvalcaba) Tapia and Dolores “Dee” (CPD) (Suzanne Coates) Tapia. Grandfather to Xander Ruvalcaba. Dear son of the late Gregorio, Sr. and late Carmen Tapia. Dearest brother of late Guadalupe “Lupe” Camacho, Dolores “Lola” (late Juan) Avila, late Gregorio Tapia, Jr., late Michael Tapia and late Carmen Gonzalez. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his “Furry Buddies” Diego and Shay. U. S. Army Korean War Veteran. Retired employee of U.S. Steel South Works and City of Chicago Motor Maintenance Division (111th).
