Veronica M. Huipio, “Vero” age 38, late of South Chicago and formerly of the East Side, passed away April 6, 2021.  Wife of John Kelley.  Loving mother of Lilianna.  Devoted daughter of Filemon and Nancy Huipio.  Dearest sister of Janette Huipio, Crystal Huipio, Stefanie (Jose) Mejia, Kathleen Huipio and Brian Huipio.  Cherished granddaughter of Evangelina and the late Robert Rodriguez, Alberta Cruz and Galacion Huipio.  Adored aunt of Destiny, Angel, Ethan, Lilliana, Yolissa, Donatello, Kassandra, Gordon and Justin.  Fond niece and cousin of many.  Vero enjoyed reading, Sudoku puzzles and playing BINGO with the family.  Visitation Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 1-8pm at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. "My deepest condolences to my brother John Kelley and his lovely daughter Lily who lost a wife and a mother. I’m saddened that Veronica lost her fight with cancer at a very young age. I am more profoundly saddened that Lily has lost her mother during her impressionable teenage years. John is now a single parent- I trust and known Lily will be his #1 priority. Thoughts and prayers also to Veronica’s extended family. "
