Passed away on March 31, 2021

Susan “Grammie” Villarreal (nee Basulto), age 88, late of Chicago, passed away March 31, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Louis.  Loving mother of the late Robert, Richard Villarreal, late Yolanda (Robert) Barrera, and the late Steve Villarreal.  Cherished grandmother of Jaime, Robert Jr., Susie, Richard, Lindsey, Christina, Robert, Melinda, Steve, Jessie, Justin, Adam, Alison, and the late Sonya.  Dearest great grandmother of many.  Susan is also survived by her sister Lola Aranda.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.  Susan will always be remembered for her passion for dancing.  She was a devoted Christian and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Visitation Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2-8 pm.  Funeral Services Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 9:15 from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  For more information 773-731-2749.
